The Festus ozioma alagba jnr. foundation invites applications from qualified and interested candidates for the 2026/2027 academic year bursary awards into public universities in Nigeria.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written examination as part of the final selection process. Details of the examination date and venue will be communicated after the initial screening.
Eligibility requirements for the 2026/2027 academic year bursary awards

Who is eligible
a) Must be an indigene of Dimagu or Alaiyi Autonomous Community
b) Must present a certification letter from the Traditional Ruler of the community
c) Must provide a valid admission letter from JAMB and WASSCE
d) Must submit a recommendation letter of good character from one of the following:
• School Principal
• Reverend Father/Pastor
• High-level Civil Servant
Eligible Courses of Study
Applicants must be admitted into one of the following courses:
• Medicine
• Law
• Engineering
• Information Technology / Computer Science
• Pharmacy
How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit a hard copy of their application which must include:
• A cover letter (stating their course of study and why they are applying)
• Required documents as listed in the eligibility requirements.
